TEST DRIVE MEME |
01. ARRIVING IN PELEA
A cold wind singing down from the white-capped mountains which hang blue-black in the distance stirs your cheek, the tall grass all around you. A bough creaks as the wind makes it tremble, and the dappled shadows drift over you, leaves rustling. As you blink awake, you hear the quiet hiss of water over stones. You are not where you once were!
You and a large group of strangers are blinking awake, pulling yourselves up off the dirt, grass, and rubble near a small wooded stream. There is no evidence of civilization in sight, and as you exchange stories you realize that you must decide what to do.
Will you head past the trees and towards the mountains? Deeper into the forest? Stay put and wait for help to arrive? You might even try to meet everyone else, and either convince them to band together... or head their separate ways.
02. CITY SLICKER
There are many cities throughout the world of Pelea, and in most of them player characters, the Flaws, are welcomed as curiosities. Whether they're among the passionate, oft thought as hot-headed, but hospitable folk of the Banner or the noble and haughty people of the Empire, your characters will find a wide variety of cultures, races and simply people to interact with and investigate. They could be seeking employment, answers to the mystery of their arrival or other folk like themselves, or a quiet place to drink away their worries.

03. WILDCARD!
Kylo Ren | Star Wars
[There’s something unnerving about waking up somewhere unfamiliar. His helmet prevents his confused expression from being visible as he sits up. This obviously isn’t Starkiller; it’s too lush and warm in comparison to the frigid tundra, and he’s certain this isn’t a planet he’s been on before at all. It begs to question how this has happened, and he’s determined to figure it out how this came to pass and why.
Based on initial observation, it seems as though many of the other people around here are just as disoriented as he is. Ren doubts they’ll be of much use to him, but that’s hardly a concern. Once on his feet, he realises his lightsaber isn’t in its holster. That is more of a concern, along with the growing irritation that he doesn’t know where he is, and his present inability to tap into the Force. It’s yet another thing he can’t explain, and one that’s much more frustrating than inexplicably finding himself in a strange place.
Ren is determined to get to the bottom of this, and stalks off toward the nearby stream, assuming that if he follows the water, eventually he’ll get somewhere with people and answers. If he has to step over the bodies of still-sleeping individuals to get there, so be it.]
b. draichar
[Ren still doesn’t have his answers. Or at least, not the ones he’d like to hear. If anything, it’s made him more irritated about his circumstances, but he’s able to adapt enough to survive. Still having the Force would have been incredibly convenient, but fortunately it wasn’t his only skill. It’s line of thought that brings him to the market in Draichar—he needs a sword and other supplies.
He managed to procure a couple items to trade off of some peasants he encountered during his journey to the city, and after some haggling with a merchant, he trades them for the much-needed sword. It’s strong, durable, and sharp enough that he’s certain that he’ll have few issues with it. It’s just going to be a matter of getting used to its weight, as his preferred weapon was essentially weightless in comparison.
After the transaction is complete, the merchant busies himself with another potential customer. Ren’s about to move along himself, but he pauses when a dagger catches his eye. That would come in handy too, and sense the merchant is distracted, he lifts it and pockets it as he heads off. The merchant won’t miss it, and even if he does, Ren doesn’t care.]
c. wildcard [feel free to throw another scenario at me if you'd like, or pm to work out details.]
A
[The protestation comes not from a body, but from a book that Kylo Ren had firmly planted his big ol' boot straight on. But this book has a face on it, and that face is screwed up in pain.]
What the hell is wrong with you? Didn't anyone teach you to not step on Overlords!?
