Plotting, plotting everywhere!
There was some plotting on the CR/Friending meme, but it seems to me some people have some long term goals and no short term or the other way around and some people don't have a plurk with which to express these thoughts, so here we are! Use it if you think it'll be helpful for you. <3

Without a network, we have to work a little harder to keep in touch, but it's not impossible as long as we keep in touch with each other's plans!
Short term goals: Bar fight? Making friends? Getting to the next town? Tell us in as much or as little detail!
Long term goals: World domination? Making a new family/team/fighting group? Saving the natives? Tell us what's striking your fancy!

Current location/direction: Sticking with the group, meant to head south but who even knows what will happen now? With scout mission failure.
Short term goals: As I mentioned on the CR meme: getting settled and getting in touch with Pelea elves, primarily, and I'll go from there. So he'll want to travel around Shousal. (SORRY FOR ALL THE EDITS:) Also related, freeing at least two groups of slaves, yes.
Long term goals: UNCERTAIN. For the moment, a lot depends on how he gets along with Pelea elves. But he'll def want to get involved with abolishing slavery... and get in touch with dryads. My OOC plans for him are basically to become a Big Name (~Wandering Prince~ or whatever) in the world, maybe posing as a native, but he doesn't care to gain any authority currently, so...

Current location/direction: She stuck with her brother and, consequently, the larger group. They started to head south, but Murphy's scouting got her kicked out, so maybe another direction soon! She's just aiming to keep everyone together and safe right now.
Short term goals: Building CR and having her mom at their group. She doesn't know this land or anything in it, so until she gets more information, her concern is going to be the people she arrived with. ALSO I'd love to do something with those not!Templars who nullify magic as that'll scare her/throw her off, but obviously she shouldn't go alone. That'll likely only end badly.
Long term goals: Once she finds out about the elven slaves, she'll be more likely to be interested in helping them somehow. I'd also love for her to get involved in the political climate, especially anything to do with magic. I don't think I want her to 'reinstate' the Inquisition
with three inquisitors(although, if it develops that way, that would be fine too) but being a 'quiet' name that maybe people whisper about would be fun and different for her. She might eventually aim to go home, but not for a bit at least.no subject

Current location/direction: Thornbarrow-ish, but heading eastward! He's incredibly freaked out by anti-magic sentiment, but isn't willing to go near the forest again given how badly he got lost the last time. So he's skirting Shousal's border in order to get somewhere else where he hopes magic will be a bit more accepted.
Short term goals: I'd like to get him a few friends. I'm very, very keen to get him to Vairaya and to have him learn about the local culture there, as it compliments what I want to do in regards to his character development. Someone getting him more comfortable with being on the road and roughing it might be pretty useful though. A 1990s London boy really doesn't have much in terms of wilderness survival.
Long term goals: I actually don't have anything long term in mind yet, mostly because it's dependent on who he befriends and what he experiences in traveling to Vairaya and what he gets out of being there.

Character: Chen Stormstout |
Current location/direction: Chen has been going with the group -- in fact, as the most cheerful and with-it character around, he may very well be the glue that's keeping the group together. He's heading where they're heading, which appears to be south.
Short term goals: Figuring out how to make brew from local ingredients. Making beer from local ingredients. Talking to everyone and hearing their stories. And he is prrroooooooobably going to have trouble with the natives, because he's obviously A BIG TALKING BEAR.
Long term goals: Long term Chen is interested in exploring and having adventures. That means he'll cheerfully go along with people if they need a companion. He's also pursuing a Secret, long-term, along these lines, and will be looking for people who are interested in exploring with him.

Character: Daenerys Targaryen |
Current location/direction: Dany is with the group! To be specific, she is not far from her three dragons. She'd like to stay with the group at least for now and wants to nudge people to stick together and use their talents to help one another. Safety in numbers and all of that. She's recommending they go south to the nearest town (Thornbarrow), gather horses and supplies, and then they can regroup once they have an accurate map and some better idea of what's going on.
Short term goals: Short-term goals involve...looking after her dragons, finding some way to keep herself protected (her dragons don't have fire and she can't rely on anyone in the group except her husband - though she wants to trust people!), find a map, and figure out where might be the best place to go. What she'd really like to do is find out what is going on, why they've come there, who is responsible, and what their real purpose will be in Pelea. She doesn't believe in coincidences.
Long term goals: Make friends and allies. She will eventually want to conquer something, though many of the nations and cities are well established and Dany has no army. She'd like to make one, though. She'll go after any towns/cities/strongholds that believe in slavery to cut them down or to change them and set the slaves free. Her army would - in theory - be comprised of freedmen...but this'll take a LONG, LONG TIME, if at all. Dany would also like to learn more about real leading and how to do so in the most charismatic way possible. She wants people to follow out of loyalty and a shared, common goal instead of fear. If necessary, she'll resort to violence, but that's not her first choice.
Powers-wise, I'm probably going to be looking at defensive things, charismatic support, and regaining her dragons' fire since they each have a -15 point penalty.

More broadly, Gianni will totally jive with Dany's style of leadership; he's also very much a violence as a last resort type, and he has a lot of experience in leading a force under that ideal, with his sister of course. I think it would be fascinating to have a sort of bond between them grow out of that.

Current location/direction: Going East/South with the main group, I believe!
Short term goals: Mainly, making friends, finding civilisation, talking to people who live here, also find who to bond telepathically with!!!
Long term goals: Understanding what's happened to them, where they are, how they can go home, etc. Would like to see the dragons. Would like to find some friends close enough that she wants to stick with! Not that much of a long-term goal, waiting to see what the game plot gives us!

Current location/direction: After arrival, he headed south with the big group!
What's happening: Crazy shit! Got in a fight on the first day and lost it, been broing it up with the other flaws and representing like an awesome dothrakahn should. Aggressively tacklehugged his wifey and agreed with her that they gotta divide and conquer. Could probably have Warrior Bro Storytime with Thor forever. Got a sad haircut from Clara. Took the first night watch with Lannistia. Met a harpy. Threw rocks at a dwarf. Had some crazy convos about whistling, talking, and Dothraki culture. Like, of all the shit days, it was honestly a pretty great shit day? All these people are a little nuts, and he likes that.
Short term goals: His short term goals are going to be keeping people together, because of his cultural background (a rider alone is a target), and his own recent insecurities. He will believe with labrador-like earnesty that they will probably all get killed or picked off if they don't use their weirdly widespread talents.
His other short-term goals will revolve around getting horses and provisions for travel. Since constant travel on horseback is literally his job description (alongside, y'know, constant war), he'll have a good idea of what's required to keep everyone on baseline. He'll also help teach people the basics of horsemanship and wilderness survival skills.
He will develop attachments strongly and quickly. Dothraki culture prioritizes one's group, to the detriment of all else, and to varying degrees that will quickly begin to apply to traveling companions.
Long term goals: Drogo made a vow of the most serious kind shortly before his canon point, which he will feel honor-bound to fulfill or die trying: to get his queen a throne. He will honestly feel less interested in finding a way to return home than in honoring his vow. The world being what it is, that throne will probably be Draichurith, and his wife being who she is, this will probably mean the abolishment of slavery. Still very in the air about how to get from A to B, but Drogo is, at the end of the day, a conqueror: war is in his blood, and he'll want to return to it. Having wiser heads around to direct him will be a necessity if he gains any means to accomplish his goals, because he would otherwise be prone to razing everything to the ground in a wash of fire and blood.

Current location/direction: I DON'T KNOW. I haven't played out that far. I feel like a dork.
Short term goals: Probably finding a place to make 'hers'. A patch of the world she can connect to where she can make a safe haven, perhaps for those who've been brought in via magical means. I'd like her to scare the poop out of the locals.
Long term goals: I have no long term goals. I usually just play along and see what happens. The game's too new for me to have much beyond "I just wanna play, man."

Current location/direction: Again, I haven't played anything out with him on the event thread, so I have no plans/goals atm. Pretty sure I mentioned in the cr post that I'm a fucking loser. This hasn't ceased being true.
Short term goals: Sex. Drugs. Alcohol. Fun. He'll want to find fun stuff to do. If/when he finds out Chloe's here, he'll want to do fun stuff with her. Until then, if you're female and you know it, get in his pants.. *clap clap*
Long term goals: He's not the ruling sort. Too big on free will and sticking it to Dad. No long term goals because, again, I can't plan for shit.

Current location/direction: Murphy started out going south, but after a blow to the face and a mysterious threat from Sir Elyan, has revised her plans to "following the group, but not south, not fucking south, okay." After making her report to the group, she'll want to know who's going where, and will try to encourage people to stick together.
Short term goals: I want Murphy to be part of a group to which she will develop clan loyalty (which totally seems to be happening!), put both her rogue skills and her Inquisitor skills into action (taking volunteers to thread out horse rustling and clothing thievery in Thornbarrow still), butt heads with someone over who's in charge (though she will not ever actually be in charge, probably), and focus on blending.
Long term goals: I want Murphy to find out more about the dwarves of this place - either well enough to pass for one for blending purposes, or well enough to find out that she doesn't fit in with them, either. I honestly could not say which I would find more fun, so to start, I'll just. See about nudging her in a direction where she will, eventually, get to interact with native dwarves.
Outside that: Elyan's soldiers said something about a "breach," he believes they're all part of something bigger and more nefarious, and she will turn her longer-term energy to figuring out what that is. She might still veer south at some point, depending on where the information she wants turns out to be; also, if she returns to Shousal, she can kick Elyan in the shins. Or the face. You know. Not picky.
But ofc this is all wild flailing around that I will gladly reorient according to game events and such!

Current location/direction: Stuck with the group! Might still want to head south but will follow the majority since that may not be the best idea after running into Kicky McPuntface.
Short term goals: Learning all the things about Pelea, especially about their elves but also about the world at large, from physical maps to the socio-political landscape. He'll be using all his skills from being downright charming to the less savory method of lock picking and rifling through NPCs' stuff for answers. Also he wants to be friends with literally everyone. Life's easier when you're all on the same side.
Long term goals: His first thought will be getting home but if he finds something rotten in the state of
DenmarkPelea, he's going to want to right that. Like elven slaves, for starters. Enough of these crop up and there may be another Inquisition outside of Thedas...no subject

Current location/direction: Stuck with the group for now! She may be trying to make her way to Draichurith at some point though
Short term goals: Getting to Draichurith at some point and learning about the culture there! Potentially wiggling her way into politics there.
Long term goals: Long-term I want her to learn more about the magic of the world. And ultimately I think I might be taking her more of a necromantic route. She's more accustomed to dark magic and it'd be something interesting to explore. So prepared for any negative fallout of that as well!
