Satisfied, Charles let the man go, shaking his hand loose before turning back towards the road. If necessary, he could ride with his dirk in hand, just to keep the man as quiet as possible. If possible, Charles would rather avoid getting jumped on the road, and a gibbering fool of a man would not help matters.
